A Little About the Director
Mrs. Kisha
Our Childcare Director has educated hundreds of children from grades Pre-K through 6th since 1997 and founded A Mommy's Heart in 2008 with passion and love for children of all ages.
Our Director Mrs. Martin, (Mrs. Kisha as the children call her) is a proud parent of four adult children who has 2 amazing grandson’s & 3 beautiful granddaughter’s, she’s expecting to add two more before 2022 ends. Mrs. Martin, worked in elementary school administration and decided to take up early childhood education full time and open her State licensed in-home center to express her passion, love and dedication for children.
Our child care center focuses on problem solving, decision making and self-help while promoting interpersonal communication skills. Pre-K and Kinder Readiness, after-school tutorials and homework help are just some of the services offered.
We strive daily to assist in working on the key elements which contribute to the development of a child's education, social skills, self esteem and confidence.
Our In-Home Center is licensed by the State of California's Social Services Department and our Director holds a variation of Degree's and Certificates ranging from Business Management to Early Childhood Care & Education including a Director's Certification for Child Care Centers.
